What does it cost once the season is real?
Check the price for the number of teams and staff you actually have, not the headline tier. Per-seat staff fees and paid add-ons for GPS, reports or video are where a cheap-looking platform gets expensive.

Does it cover the training ground, or only the admin?
Scheduling, messaging and payments are solved problems. Session planning, tactics, load and injuries are the work — and the part most team-management apps leave to your notebook.

Can you get your data out?
Player records, session plans and match data should export to PDF or CSV without a support ticket. If leaving is hard, so is arriving — you will be migrating from something.

Where does the data live, and who can see it?
You are storing minors’ names, photos and medical notes. Ask where it is hosted, what the GDPR position is, and whether each staff member can be limited to only the squad they coach.
