Football Hub respects your privacy. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your rights — in plain language.

1. What We Collect

When you use Football Hub, we collect:

Account info: name, email, password (hashed), club name, role.
Coaching data you enter: players, teams, sessions, matches, evaluations, injuries, video metadata.
Branding (paid users): custom logo, app name, colors.
Billing info: handled directly by Stripe — we never see your full card number.
Usage data: page views, click events (via Google Analytics + Microsoft Clarity).
Device info: browser type, IP address, approximate location.

2. How We Use It

To provide and improve the platform.
To process subscription payments (via Stripe).
To send essential account emails (welcome, password reset, billing receipts).
To detect abuse and enforce our Terms of Service.
To analyze aggregate usage so we can improve the product.

We do not sell your data. We do not run third-party advertising on the platform.

3. Third-Party Services

We use these processors to deliver the service:

Supabase — database hosting, authentication, file storage.
Stripe — payment processing.
Vercel — application hosting.
Google Analytics — anonymous usage analytics.
Microsoft Clarity — anonymous heatmaps and session replay (no sensitive form input is recorded).
Google Gemini / Anthropic Claude — AI analysis. Coaching context you submit is sent to these providers to generate the response.

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored in Supabase (PostgreSQL) with Row-Level Security enabled. Each coach can only access their own data. Communications use HTTPS/TLS. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt.

5. Data Retention

We retain your data while your account is active. If you delete your account, your personal data is removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law (e.g. tax records for paid invoices, kept for 7 years).

6. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you.
Correct inaccurate data.
Delete your account and associated data.
Export your data in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw consent for analytics tracking.
Lodge a complaint with a data protection authority.

7. Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you logged in. Analytics cookies (Google Analytics, Clarity) help us understand usage. You can disable cookies in your browser settings, but the platform may not function fully without essential cookies.

8. Children's Privacy

Football Hub is not intended for users under 16. Coaches may store data about youth players (with photos, names, etc.) — coaches are responsible for obtaining proper consent from parents or guardians under their local laws (GDPR, COPPA, etc.).

9. International Data Transfers

Your data may be processed in countries other than yours (Supabase, Vercel, Stripe operate globally). We rely on standard contractual clauses and other safeguards to ensure adequate data protection.

10. Changes

We may update this policy occasionally. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision.
